When you enquire

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred dates, guest numbers and any message you choose to provide. You may also choose to tell us how you heard about the house; this is optional and helps us understand where enquiries come from. Your enquiry is recorded in our website system and an email notification is sent to the team where available. We use this information to answer your request, check availability and discuss a possible booking. Sending an enquiry does not reserve dates or add you to a marketing list.

When you submit an enquiry, we record the public page where you submitted it so we can understand the context of your request. We do not automatically collect the page where you first arrived or your referring website. We do not include search terms, tracking parameters or browsing history in your enquiry.

Please avoid sending payment-card details or sensitive personal information through the enquiry form. If you have particular access needs, you can ask us to discuss them directly.

How information is handled

We use website hosting, database and email services supplied through Floot to operate the site and handle enquiries. Enquiry information is used to respond to you and take steps towards a booking at your request. Relevant records may also be needed to administer a confirmed booking and meet record-keeping obligations. Contact us to ask about the information held for your enquiry and its retention.

Cookies and website tracking

Optional visitor analytics are switched off. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or analytics identifiers to follow your visit. Our enquiry form and booking links work without accepting optional cookies, so we do not display a cookie-consent pop-up.

Our hosting provider may process technical request information needed to deliver and protect the website. When you follow an external booking or contact link, that provider may use cookies under its own policies. If we introduce optional tracking in future, we will review the privacy information and consent requirements before enabling it.

Links to other services

If you choose Sykes, Airbnb, Booking.com, WhatsApp or another external link, you leave this website. Those services handle information under their own privacy notices and booking terms. A WhatsApp message prepared after an enquiry is sent only when you choose to send it in WhatsApp.

Your requests

You can contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your enquiry information, or to raise a concern about how it is used. Some records may need to be retained for a confirmed booking or other obligations. You can also raise a data-protection concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
