Things to do
Stunning scenery, glorious beaches, loads to see and do – is it any wonder that people have been flocking to Scarborough for nearly 400 years now?
You can still immerse yourself in history with Scarborough Castle and the Rotunda Museum of Geology. You could venture down to the seafront to see the traditional amusement arcades, ice cream parlours, shellfish stalls and beach huts. But despite its rich history, Scarborough doesn’t live in the past. The town is constantly innovating to keep its place as one of the most popular holiday destinations in the UK.
A short walk from the house you have Esplanade and Italian Gardens with pond & statues, plus scenic views over South Bay & old Town. There is also the Fairy Gardens great for children.
